Reported risk: On certain vehicles, the bolts attaching the fuel tank mounting brackets to the frame may have insufficient torque and therefore may result in premature failure of the fuel tank mounting. Fuel tank mounting bolt failure could allow the tank to separate from the vehicle and leak which, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel tank mounting bolts.
