Reported risk: Certain tires were moulded with the incorrect maximum permissible inflation pressure of 240 kPa (35 PSI) on the sidewall containing the full DOT serial number. The opposite side has the correct stamping of 300 kPa (44 PSI). An under-inflated condition will cause the tire to wear prematurely and result in early failure. Correction: Dealers will replace affected tires.
Verify each fact at the issuing agency before acting. Recall scope, affected lots, and remediation instructions may be updated by the agency after our last sync.
