Reported risk: On certain ATV's, inadequate sealing may allow water to enter the throttle lever case. Since the drain hole is not located at the lowest point, water that has entered the throttle lever case may not completely drain. Under low temperature conditions, the water can freeze at the throttle lever pivot point inside the throttle case, causing the throttle lever to become stuck and fail to automatically return to the idle position when the rider releases the throttle. Correction: Dealers will modify the throttle case seal and grease the pivot shaft.
