Reported risk: On certain vehicles, the bolts that retain the universal joint to the yoke at the transmission may not be tightened to the engineering specifications. This can result in the drive shaft coming loose from the transmission. Correction: Dealers will install new bolts at the transmission and, torque to specs the bolts at the interaxle and intermediate drive shaft connections.
