Reported risk: Certain passenger vehicles. An electrolytic capacitor contained in the amplifier for each rear speaker could leak an electrolyte, which may in time and in the presence of humidity, cause an unwanted conductive path. This condition could result in the amplifier overheating and a potential fire risk. Correction: Volkswagen has not yet provided the remedy for this recall.
