Reported risk: On certain vehicles equipped with Bose audio systems that have separate speaker amplifiers mounted behind the rear seat back. Under high ambient temperature conditions, the amplifier circuit board could develop a short circuit due to electrolyte leakage from a capacitor mounted on the board. If a short circuit occurs, one or more transistors could overheat causing smoke or the possibility of an amplifier fire. Correction: Dealer will replace the amplifier circuit board on affected vehicles.
