Reported risk: On certain vehicles, the hose for the high pressure line between the power steering pump and the steering gear is rated at 2000 psi and not the required 3000 psi. This could cause the hose to develop a leak or to burst while in service. This would result in loss of steering power assist and a possible loss of control. Correction: High pressure steering hose will be replaced with one rated for 3000 psi.
