Reported risk: On certain travel trailers, the design incorporates all of the liquid storage tanks behind the axle, so that when the tanks are full and other materials are loaded in a behind the axle location, hitch weight is reduced. This would make the trailer difficult to tow at speeds in excess of 80 kph with the potential for a vehicle crash. Correction: Additional steel in the form of a ball will be inserted into the hitch and welded into place, increasing the hitch weight.
