Reported risk: Certain vehicles do not comply with the requirements CMVSS 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) do not meet all of the photometric requirements of 108(47). This condition does not pose a risk to highway safety and is as effective as a compliant DRL system using the low beam headlamps at a reduced voltage of 11 volts. Correction: Due to the inconsequential nature of this non-compliance, no action will be taken.
