Reported risk: On certain vehicles, the fuel feed return line in the engine compartment could wear through as the result of repeated contact with the exhaust manifold as the vehicle is driven. If the pipe is worn through, fuel may escape from the pipe and possibly ignite if it contacts the exhaust system. Correction: Dealers will check the clearance between the fuel return pipe and the exhaust manifold and, if necessary, reposition the pipe. A worn pipe will be replaced with a new pipe which will be properly positioned.
