Reported risk: Certain sehicles have a carry over 1998 level speedometer driven gear, which results in up to a 14% lower speedometer reading than the actual vehicle speed. This could result in the vehicle being driven at an unsafe or illegal speed should the driver not realize that his vehicle road speed is greater than the speedometer indication. Correction: Dealers will install the correct speedometer gear.
