Reported risk: CORROSION MAY OCCUR IN THE FOOT BRAKE VALVE ADAPTER BORE AND PLUNGER DUE TO THE INTRUSION OF WATER AND ROAD SALTS. ACCUMULATED CORROSION AND WATER INTRUSION CAN RESULT IN THE PLUNGER STICKING, ESPECIALLY DURING COLD WEATHER SERVICE. THIS WOULD CAUSE THE BRAKES TO REMAIN APPLIED AND COULD RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT.
CORRECTION: THE BRAKE VALVE ADAPTER WILL BE REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH AN IMPROVED DESIGN ADAPTER WHICH HAS FULL FACE CONTACT WITH THE GASKET.
Verify each fact at the issuing agency before acting. Recall scope, affected lots, and remediation instructions may be updated by the agency after our last sync.
