Reported risk: On certain Volvo 854, 855, 964 and 965, the screws which attach the throttle plate to its axle (shaft) could, in time, come loose resulting in a loose throttle plate. A loose throttle plate may come into contact with the throttle housing, which may thereby prevent the throttle from returning to the idle position. Correction: throttle housing will be replaced on affected vehicles.
