Reported risk: NOTE: STANDARD TRANSMISSION VEHICLES.
WHEN PRESSING AND RELEASING THE CLUTCH PEDAL, A BRACKET ON THE CLUTCH PEDAL LEVER MAY CONTACT THE ENGINE CONTROL WIRING HARNESS AND CAUSE ABRASION OF THE WIRING INSULATION. IF THIS OCCURS, THE DAMAGED INSULATION MAY RESULT IN A SHORT CIRCUIT TO THE ENGINE CONTROL WIRING WHICH COULD CAUSE UNEXPECTED ENGINE STALL.
CORRECTION: ENGINE CONTROL WIRING HARNESS WILL BE INSPECTED FOR DAMAGE AND REPOSITIONED TO ENSURE THAT CONTACT WITH THE BRACKET DOES NOT OCCUR.
Verify each fact at the issuing agency before acting. Recall scope, affected lots, and remediation instructions may be updated by the agency after our last sync.
