Reported risk: Certain vehicles were built with incorrect front shock absorber upper and lower nuts. Free spinning nuts were installed instead of prevailing torque nuts. The free spinning nuts may loosen and eventual shock absorber detachment at the upper mount will occur. Upper end of detached shock absorber could detach brake hose or cause brake hose to wear through. This could cause loss of the front brake system. Correction: Free spinning nuts will be replaced with prevailing torque nuts
