Reported risk: THE HANDHOLD MOUNTING SYSTEM CONSISTS OF A TUBULAR HANDLE HELD IN THREE PLACES BY CAST ALUMINUM BRACKETS WHICH ARE, IN TURN, ATTACHED TO THE ENGINE EXHAUST MUFFLER HEAT SHIELD. VIBRATION FROM THE EXHAUST SYSTEM CAUSES THE HANDHOLD PARTS TO WEAR THIN AND COULD CAUSE THE HANDHOLD TO GIVE WAY UNDER THE WEIGHT OF A DRIVER. THIS COULD RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY. CORRECTION: REPLACE THE HANDHOLD WITH A MODIFIED DESIGN WHICH UTILIZES A RUBBER ISOLATOR. ADD A PLASTIC SLEEVE TO THE CENTER BRACKET FOR ISOLATION.
