THIS CONDITION COULD RESULT IN INADEQUATE RETENTION OF THE NUT TO THE OUTPUT SHAFT ALLOWING THE PITMAN ARM TO COME LOOSE. IF THIS CONDITION IS NOT CORRECTED, THE SPLINED GROOVES ON THE OUTPUT SHAFT COULD WEAR SMOOTH CAUSING A LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL.
