Reported risk: On certain CB750K, the threaded insert (oil filter boss) for the oil filter retaining bolt may not withstand the stress cause by engine temperature and pressure (particulartly when the oil filter bolt has been over tightened). Should the oil filter boss break, the oil filter will come off allowing oil to fall on the road surface. The oil may come in contact with the rear tire causing a reduction in traction affecting vehicle control.
