Reported risk: The toy contains a small magnet with a high magnetic flux which can easily become detached. If a child swallowed the magnet and other metallic objects, these could attract each other, leading to intestinal obstruction or perforation. In addition, if the magnet were put in the mouth, it could block the child’s airways. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.
