Reported risk: Health Canada has determined that the recalled manual roller shades do not meet the Corded Window Coverings Regulations and pose a strangulation hazard. Young children may pull looped cords around their neck, or become entangled in the cords, causing a strangulation hazard and even death. In addition, the products can also release small parts that present a choking hazard to young children. Health Canada recommends cordless window coverings. For more information on the hazard, see Window Covering Safety . As of August 10, 2026, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
