Reported risk: The recalled products can contain the bacteria Klebsiella aerogenes. People with weakened immune systems, external medical devices, and underlying lung conditions who are exposed to the bacteria face a risk of serious infection that may require medical treatment. The bacteria can enter the body if inhaled, or through the eyes or a break in the skin. People with healthy immune systems are usually not affected by the bacteria. As of December 11, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled BEB Bubbly Wash and contact Canadian Hospital Specialties Ltd. (CHS) for a replacement. For more information, consumers can contact Canadian Hospital Specialties Ltd. (CHS) by email at [email protected] note that, in addition to the requirements of the Cosmetic Regulations, the Food and Drugs Act (FDA) prohibits the sale of cosmetics that are either made with hazardous substances, or under unsanitary conditions, to users in Canada.Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.This recall is also posted on the OECD Global Portal on Product Recalls website.
