Reported risk: Issue: On certain RV trailers, the propane (LP) lines on the outdoor cooktop may not have been properly tightened. As a result, the connection could leak propane gas. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Action: Heartland RV will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to inspect and tighten the propane (LP) connection to the outside cooktop, as necessary. The dealer will also perform a leak test. To reduce the safety risk, Heartland recommends that you should not use the outside cooktop until the recall repairs have been completed.
