Reported risk: On certain electric vehicles, the drive gear in the rear axle drivetrain may not have been properly welded. As a result, the weld for the drive gear could break and cause a loss of power to the wheels. Additionally, the vehicle could move when it's parked and the parking brake isn't applied.
