Reported risk: A rider uses the brake lever to activate the braking system to slow or stop the bicycle. Excess thread lock compound applied to the lever body fixing bolt may result in the clamp bolt not being adequately tightened despite reaching recommended bolt torque. As a result, the clamp bolt on the brake lever can come loose, posing a fall hazard to the rider. As of January 24, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada, or in the United States.
