Reported risk: Issue: On a small number of 5 & 6 horse triple-axle trailers, the axle carriers were made with metal that's too thin. As a result, the axle carrier could collapse and the tires could contact the floor in the horse area. If this happens, the tires could fail. Safety risk: An axle carrier failure or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and create the risk of a crash.
