Reported risk: Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that these cribs do not meet the Cribs, Cradles and Bassinets Regulations in Canada. Specifically, the Caravan Crib failed to meet the testing for strength and integrity of slats when the vertical upward force, specific to Canada, was applied causing the slats to separate from the top rail. The openings created pose entrapment and injury hazards to the child. As of April 25, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Caravan crib and contact Kalon Studios for a replacement or contact the retailer where the product was purchased for a refund.For more information, consumers can contact Kalon Studios by email or by telephone at 866-514-2034.Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.This recall is also posted on the OECD Global Portal on Product Recalls website.
