Reported risk: On vehicles equipped with a jackknife-type folding key, over time the key blade may not stay locked in the fully extended (open) position. If you drive the vehicle with the key in the partially folded position, you could bump the ignition key and turn the engine off. This can cause a sudden loss of engine power, power steering and power brakes. This could also cause the airbags not to deploy in a crash. Note: This recall only affects vehicles that have an "S" trim level.
