Reported risk: Under certain limited circumstances during use of the manual override crank, there is a possibility that the product's internal power supply wires to the limit switch unit ("LSU") connected to the motor can be disconnected and come into contact with internal metal parts of the motor tube. If the product is not installed in electrical installations that incorporate a GFCI outlet or GFCI circuit breaker (which is required in accordance with the installation instructions), the disconnected wires may pose a risk of electric shock during or following use of the manual override crank. As of November 29, 2022, the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received no reports of incidents and no reports of injuries.
