Reported risk: The temperature sensor can relay incorrect water temperatures and cause the water to be hotter than the set temperature, posing injury (heat stroke) and thermal burn hazards. As of December 9, 2022, the company has received 185 reports of inaccurate temperature readings, 26 of which were in Canada. The company has received no reports of injuries.
What you should do

Consumers should use an accurate external thermometer to confirm the water temperature prior to entering the hot tub until the hot tub is confirmed not to have the affected temperature sensor.
