Reported risk: On certain vans converted to lowered floor mobility vehicles by The Braun Corporation, inadequate welding of a trailing arm modification may result in the trailing arm separating and causing a loss of vehicle control, which could result in a crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. The trailing arm separation may be preceded by a squeak, rattle or other noise emanating from the rear of the vehicle. Correction: Dealers will inspect the trailing arm welding integrity and correct as required.
