Reported risk: On certain school buses equipped with Freedman seat barriers, the barrier for leg protection was manufactured using the wrong gauge of material and fails to comply with Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 222 - School Bus Passenger Seating and Crash Protection.
