Reported risk: Certain tires experienced less than expected sidewall performance during internal testing at the factory. The sidewall of these tires can wear prematurely, which could cause sudden tire failure such as a blow-out. Tire failure could cause the driver to lose vehicle control, which may result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace affected tire, free of charge, for a six-month period. After that a pro-rata credit (based on remaining tread depth) will be offered for use towards the replacement cost of new tires.
