Reported risk: Certain vehicles equipped with a 5.7L V8 engine and a 8HP70 automatic transmission may not maintain a mechanical PARK when the shift lever is moved in the PARK position and the engine is left running. If the operator exits the vehicle in this condition, the vehicle could roll away, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will re-flash the Transmission Control Module (TCM) with an updated software.
