Reported risk: On certain side-by-side UTV's, one of two ground cables may not be properly attached to the battery terminal, creating a short circuit and/or an overheated ground cable. This could result in sparks or heat being generated, which could melt the wiring or insulation, increasing the risk of a fire causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect the ground cables and ensure both are connected at negative battery terminal and at starter bolt.
