Reported risk: On certain motorcycles, continuous operation with the engine in a misfire condition could lead to elevated exhaust temperatures. This could damage the rear brake line, which would increase stopping distances, and damage electrical wiring. These issues could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will re-route the brake line and wiring away from the exhaust catalyst.
