Reported risk: An alternate component for an IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) was added to a Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) of some treadmills manufactured between 22-dec-2017 and 03-dec-2018. In some instances, the alternate component will overheat, causing the treadmill to no longer function and potentially stop during a stress test. When the failure occurs while performing a test, the treadmill decelerates gradually following normal protocol.
