Reported risk: The recalled products do not meet the labelling requirements for consumer chemical products under the Consumer Chemical and Container Regulations, 2001, made under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. The products do not have the symbols and warnings that are required to be placed on the containers of consumer chemical products. The lack of the required warnings could lead to improper use of the product and present a flammability hazard leading to serious injury or fire. The product is classified as spontaneously combustible and a rag with the product on it can catch fire on its own, with no outward flame source. Health Canada has received one report of a consumer incident related to the use of this product. No injuries have been reported. SamaN has not received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of this product.
