Reported risk: Ottawa, April 30, 2011 - The following warning was issued to the media by McCormick Canada Co. on April 30, 2011 ******************** LONDON, ONTARIO, April 30, 2011 - In cooperation with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), Simply Asia Foods is warning the public not to consume Simply Asia Roasted Peanut Noodle Bowl, 240 g with the Lot Codes, Best Before MAY1012B, Best Before APR 2412B and JUNE2112B. The product contains milk allergen which is not declared on the label. The product subject to this recall is: Only the date codes listed above are affected. The best before date is found on the side panel of the retail package in the right top corner. No illnesses have been reported. Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk proteins. The recalled product was imported from China by McCormick Canada, London, ON and distributed across Canada. Immediate action is being taken to ensure that any affected product is removed from the marketplace. We recommend that consumers discard affected product and contact the number below for a full refund.
