Wilton Industries Inc. has received 13 reports of incidents in the United States, including five reports of steam traveling up the handle, three reports of hot water spilling from the spout, one report of a hot handle and four reports of the tea kettle base melting onto the stove burner. No injuries have been reported with these incidents. Neither Wilton Industries Canada Company nor Health Canada has received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these recalled kettles.
