Reported risk: Ottawa, June 21, 2013 - The public warning issued on June 6, 2013 has been amended to correctly identify the affected lot codes and associated Best By dates for the Vega® Sport Endurance Bar Mocha product. There has been one reported allergic reaction. Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk. The distributor, Sequel Naturals Ltd. , Burnaby, BC , is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
