Reported risk: Ottawa, May 23, 2013 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Alimentation Nouvelle Orléans are warning people with allergies to mustard, milk, soy and/or wheat not to consume the Nouvelle Orléans brand Marinades described below. The affected products contain mustard, milk, soy and/or wheat which are not declared on the label. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products. Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to mustard, milk, soy and/or wheat. The manufacturer, Alimentation Nouvelle Orleans , Hébertville-Station , QC , is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
