Reported risk: Ottawa, June 9, 2011 - The following warning was issued to the media by Simply Thick LLC , St. Louis, MO , on June 4, 2011. As part of its food safety responsibilities, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency verifies that distributors and retailers are effectively removing recalled products from the marketplace. These verifications have shown that the recalled Simply Thick products may still be in the Canadian marketplace. We are working directly with distributors, retailers and individual consignees to ensure that the recall is properly completed. This plant is currently owned and operated by Thermo Pac, LLC . This voluntary recall is limited to only those products manufactured at the Stone Mountain, Georgia plant . Simply Thick products manufactured at two additional food processing plants are not subject to this voluntary recall .
