Reported risk: Ottawa, February 11, 2013 - The public warning issued on February 9, 2013 has been updated to include two additional products. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Yum Yum Food are warning people with allergies to egg or milk not to consume, and retailers not to sell, the Yum Yum Food brand Shrimp Wonton and Shrimp Dumpling products described below. The affected products contain egg and milk which are not declared on the label. There have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of these products. Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to egg or milk. The manufacturer, Yum Yum Food, Toronto, Ontario is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
