Reported risk: Ottawa, January 9, 2013 - The public warning issued on January 8, 2013 has been updated to include an additional package size. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Kasseler Food Products Inc. are warning people with allergies to milk not to consume the Somersaults brand Cinnamon Crunch described below. The affected product contains milk which is not declared on the label. The following product, imported from the USA , is affected by this alert. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product. Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk. The importer, Kasseler Food Products Inc. , Mississauga, ON , is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
