Reported risk: Ottawa, August 21, 2012 - The public warning issued on August 3, 2012 has been expanded to include additional sizes of previously recalled products. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and TWI Foods Inc. are warning people with allergies to milk not to consume the Crispy Just Baked brand cookies described below. The affected products contain milk which is not declared on certain labels. All codes of the following cookies which do not clearly declare milk on the labels are affected by this alert. These products may have been distributed nationally. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products. Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk. The manufacturer, TWI Foods Inc. , Mississauga, ON is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
