Undeclared milk in certain MILLE-FEUILLES (CUSTARD) produced by… — recall 44662

Reported risk: Ottawa, June 22, 2012 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Pâtisseries Sanda Inc. are warning people with allergies to milk not to consume Mille-Feuilles (Custard) which they produced. The affected product contains milk which is not declared on the label. The affected product, Milles-Feuilles (Custard), is sold in 450 g packages bearing the code 12151 and the UPC 8 93837 00048 6. This product has been distributed in Quebec. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product. Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk. The manufacturer, Pâtisseries Sanda Inc. , Brossard, QC , is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
