Reported risk: It has been discovered through internal testing that there have been a small quantity of drains manufactured where the valve could potentially not re-seal properly after depressing the valve. If the patient is connected to suction on an oasis drain (with a filled air-leak monitor), a manual vent valve that will not re-seal is immediately obvious if continuous bubbling in the water seal chamber is observed.
