Reported risk: Following our communication regarding the Shandex Sales Group's voluntary recall of alcohol swabs and our communication regarding Teva's Multiple Sclerosis kit co-packaged with recalled prep pads , Health Canada is informing Canadians that Bowers Medical Ltd. has initiated a voluntary recall of alcohol swabsticks, swabs and prep pads manufactured by the same company, Triad Group. Alcohol swabsticks, swabs and prep pads are used to cleanse or disinfect a particular area of the body. Bowers Medical Ltd. is requesting that hospitals, wholesalers, pharmacies and other retail locations immediately stop using and/or selling these products.
