Reported risk: The recalled product can pose a fall hazard as some brackets were manufactured without tack welds on the pins that hold the adjustable mechanism in place. Only those brackets without the tack welds are included in this recall. Tests by the manufacturer have found that there is a risk that the mechanism can fail when being used on steep pitches when considerable weight is being supported by the bracket. Health Canada has not received reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of this product.
Verify each fact at the issuing agency before acting. Recall scope, affected lots, and remediation instructions may be updated by the agency after our last sync.
