Reported risk: The brake boss housed within the carbon fork on the specified Specialized bicycles can disengage from the fork and allow the brake assembly to contact the wheel spokes while rotating, posing a fall hazard. Specialized has received two reports in the United States and one in Canada of the brake boss disengaging from the carbon fork. No injuries were reported. Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.
